Counsellor – Post-CSE Services

We are currently recruiting for a counsellor with over 450 hours of clinical practice and relevant knowledge of issues affecting individuals who have experienced child sexual exploitation and abuse.

  • NJC SCP 17 £24,491 FTE
  • 1x Post @ 10hrs per week.

This role will focus on providing high-quality support for adults, children, young people, and families who are currently or have, experienced domestic abuse and or CSE, or other identified complex need; to reduce risk, improve safety and wellbeing. These roles will work flexibly in relation to any projects and services delivered by Rotherham Rise.

Senior Project Worker- Support Services

This position has a permanent status, funding for the post will expire in March 2022, therefore should this funding not be extended further, we will enter into consultation with you about other suitable posts available at that time

Please also note there will be evening and weekend work to meet the needs of clients. This is applicable to all the above vacancies.

  • NJC SCP 20 £25,991 pro-rata – SCP 21 £26,511 FTE following one years’ service or dependent on experience.

Apprentice Project Worker – Support Services

  • £17,250-£18,250 FTE per annum (rising in quarterly increments)
  • 1 Post @ 35 hours within Outreach Support Services
  • Potential to be retained and increase in annual wage on completion of qualifications/apprenticeship.

There will be regular evening and weekend work to meet the needs of clients.

These roles will focus on providing high-quality support for adults, children, young people, and families who are currently or have, experienced domestic abuse; to reduce risk, improve safety and wellbeing. This role will work flexibly in relation to any projects and services delivered by Rotherham Rise including community awareness, CSE services and Refuge accommodation.

Community Engagement Project Worker

Please note there will be regular evening and weekend work to meet the needs of Hygge; Community Store and Café.

The role will focus on developing the Community Space within Hygge to deliver innovative activities as well as workshops and training that promotes the work of Rotherham Rise. There will also be a focus on developing, delivering, and implementing a short programme for Rotherham Rise and other VCS service users that uses the uniqueness of Hygge to empower them.

The role will also focus on developing a Domestic Abuse Champion programme. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic, creative, self-starter.

Team Leader – Cook

  • £9.82 hourly rate
  • 1 Post @ 37 hours

We are looking to hire a cook to join and lead our team at Hygge café. We are looking for someone who has a passion for producing great quality food for our guests. With the support of the Hygge Team Members, you will be required to, open, and close the café when needed, as well as cashing up when required. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the café which includes the kitchen and front of house.

As Team Leader you should have experience in a supervisory role and be able to mentor and train Team Members. You will lead on stock control and ordering to minimise waste. You will lead the team to maintain the highest score for Food Hygiene ratings and make Hygge a must visit destination in Rotherham.

Team Member

  • £8.36-£8.91 hourly rate (Dependent on experience)
  • 1 Post @ 18 hours (part-time)

This role includes offering a customer experience that makes Hygge a great visit.
A hard-working Hygge Team Member to prepare coffee and sell drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for each drink e.g., espresso, latte, cappuccino flat whites etc. Maximising on selling food with drinks. Serving food to our customers. To look after the café area, keeping it clean and tidy. Inviting guests in and seek returning custom.
