Become A Trustee

Rotherham Rise is a registered charity that provides advice and support for adults and children who have experienced Domestic Violence and Abuse through providing refuge accommodation and community support services.  We also provide support and access to counselling for people affected by Child Sexual Exploitation.

Chair of the Board of Trustees

Rotherham Rise is looking for an inspiring and dynamic new Chair of the board of trustees. We have existing talented and skilled trustees. We are now seeking a new Chair to join them to build on our progress to date and help shape our future to ensure that we remain an organisation at the forefront of domestic and sexual abuse support.

The Chair will be willing and able to commit time and energy to continue the organisation’s development; understand the entrepreneurial nature of small charities, and work with the CEO to ensure that the organisation is sustainable, agile and well-managed in this time of unprecedented change and challenge.

The charity has been longlisted for the Western Charity Awards; Pilot lighters, and if we are successful the chair will be expected to commit to participating in this project. We anticipate that this will be an exciting opportunity for the charity, supporting the organisation to the next level of expansion and development.
